Voyagers Hotel Amsterdam and the Voyagers Coffeeshop Amsterdam
Due to the coffeeshop being downstairs, the regulations applying to coffeeshop operation must be strictly observed, despite the entrance to the rooms being separate from the coffeeshop. The main business of the Voyagers is the coffeeshop, selling cannabis under very strict rules and conditions, part of the Dutch policy of toleration, therefore the hotel is run and all its policies are adopted accordingly.
The age limit for staying in the hotel is set at 18 years, all hotel guests must be 18 or older, and it is strictly enforced. All guests must show for control their valid government-issued identity document with portrait photo as passport, identity card or driver license to check in.
At Voyagers Hotel and Coffeeshop Amsterdam, the coffeeshop takes priority over the hotel. Consequently, hotel operations are secondary to those of the coffeeshop, and the telephone is often ignored, as are the emails. If you have questions regarding hotel reservation for the Voyagers Hotel Amsterdam you have to contact Hotelrunners B.V., the company that processes the reservations and answers related questions on behalf of the hotel.

Voyagers Hotel Coffeeshop Amsterdam is a small, smoker friendly budget hotel with nine rooms in total, located in the heart of the city center next to Amsterdam Centraal Station, the main railway station of the city, at the edge of the Red Light District. The hotel is a few steps back from the busy Prins Hendrikkade, at the beginning of the Gelderskade at house number 2, in a rounded corner building at the angle where two narrow canal streets meet. It was recently taken over by new management with many years’ experience in the Amsterdam hotel and coffeeshop industry.

Voyagers Hotel Amsterdam has two basic single rooms with shared shower and toilet, both on the top floor, the fourth floor. There is no lift in the building, so rooms can only be reached by climbing steep, narrow, so called Dutch stairs. The two ensuite twin rooms and the ensuite double room all have private shower and toilet inside, the double room has also a bathtub. The only basic triple room has shared shower and toilet, as do the three basic quad rooms, which are fitted with bunk beds. Realy nice hotel with superb staff & location
the fact that it is above a coffee shop is grate as when you have had a full day out and want to relax you can have your chill out joint and its just up stairs to your room
we found ourselfs chilling on our bed watching the world going by
we also got a free coffee with our last joint on check out witch was a nice touch
PS i hope the lad i passed my grinder and last bit of smoke on to enjoyed his stay

these ar no negative as such
the room we was in could do with a shelf near the plug socket as we had to balance our phones on the socket so if it rang it was a gymnast stile jump to catch the phone before it smashed on the floor (told the lady in coffee shop about this & she said she would look into this)
as it is in the description the stairs are realy steep up to the rooms (this was not just this hotel!!! most shops / museums had realy steep stairs )
they could do with basic things in the rooms
IE drinking glasses / just 1 set of cutlery would do (just plastic would do 4 both glasses and cutlery )

I stay here in May 2016, what can I say best value and stay youll have. The Staff are friendly and will helo with any questions you may have. The Coffeeshop down stair is a nice small one with some top bud in there and hash :)) Volcano was my first time trying this was awesome it of kit, Ive done bongs joint etc but never a Volcano vape was very nice high. I stayed in a single room on the top floor was a bit of a climb but still room was nice clean and great for my stay. I will most certainly be staying here again!!

Stayed here twice (4 different rooms). Can't beat the price, location. Great people on staff. If you read the room descriptions, it tells you everything you need to know so no surprises upon arrival.
Stayed here in the single rooms 3 times. Top floor shared showers on floor below. Very clean always hot water. Cool staff .Will be visiting again early December.
Stayed at the Voyager many time's,bit of a climb to the single rooms.Great staff,great prices,great weed in the coffee shop,well worth a stay or a visit just for a smoke.
I have previously stayed at this hotel with my partner in september room was very clean, staff cery friendly amd situated oppisite central statiom. The large windows in the double and two twins really make an amsterdam feel to the stay. Coffeeshop is one of the best and has a high grade menu of smoke. Will be staying here again in january and march. I would highly recommend this hotel.
