The renovations included incorporating the neighboring building of the former Linda Hostel Amsterdam into the new hotel and adding a lift. The hotel has a central location on the busy Stadhouderskade, opposite De Nederlandsche Bank and near the Albert Cuyp street market, between the Amstel River and the Heineken brewery. Ibis Styles City Hotel Amsterdam, the sister hotel of Ibis Styles Amstel Hotel Amsterdam, can be found a few doors down.
Ibis Styles, formerly All Seasons, is a new brand of design hotels from the Accor Hotels group. The distinguishing factors in the brand identity are quality bedding, bright colors, family accommodations, and an “all-inclusive price” that covers breakfast, Internet connection, and other extra services at no additional charge.
