Under new management, City Garden Hotel Amsterdam is currently undergoing improvements to make the rooms more consistent and uniform as room size, furnishings, and views within the same room type vary widely due to the frequent expansion of the hotel. This may be accountable for the variance and inconsistency in guest reviews. Rooms can be found on five floors, including the basement. There is a lift only to the third floor from which it is necessary to climb one flight of stairs to access the fourth floor. Some rooms have a view to the garden, but all of the rooms with an even number have a view to the park. Every room has a private shower and toilet inside.
